Pennsylvania Increases Penalties for Repeat DUI Offenders
Effective November 8, 2022, Pennsylvania is increasing penalties against repeat DUI offenders. For third-time offenders, you can now be charged with a Second-Degree Felony. For fourth-time offenders, you can now be charged with a Third-Degree Felony. Each of these degrees carry fines, possible prison time, and 18-month license suspensions. Any person with three or more offenses is now also no longer eligible to serve concurrent prison sentences, and must serve all sentences consecutively, effectively increasing sentences for repeat offenders.
