Cliff Bidlingmaier Receives Successful Verdict in Automobile Accident Litigation
Cliff Bidlingmaier was successful in obtaining a substantial six-figure verdict for his client who is involved in a motor vehicle accident on I-95 in Philadelphia. His client had prior to the accident undergone back surgery, and ultimately suffered an aggravation of that pre-existing injury. Pennsylvania law provides that the at fault party is responsible to compensate an individual for damages, resulting from the aggravation of a condition or illness that pre-dated the accident. Aggravation of a pre-existing condition is compensable as damages should be awarded for all injuries caused "even if" the injuries caused by the accident were more severe than could have been foreseen because of the plaintiff's prior physical condition or a pre-existing medical condition was aggravated by the accident.
His client underwent surgical intervention after the accident and never returned to her prior state. After litigating the case, Cliff was successful in obtaining a verdict of nearly $200,000 for his client.
